Frankly I flat out prefer physical media full stop. I remain highly unconvinced that DDs will ever replace physical media, although there is no doubt they will gain market share at its expense. Just how much remains to be seen though. How long is a piece of string? I also think that it will be the last big mainstream physical media. It is almost certainly the last disk based media. There will be more layers for backups and computer use but thats it.
